SUMMIT's line of low temperature freezers are available in a wide range of sizes, with a full combination of standard features most requested by users. From compact to large capacity chest freezers, we offer a quality selection to meet the specific needs of laboratories, hospitals, clinics, and other facilities with high demands for stable low temperature cooling.

Low Temperature Freezers By SUMMIT

All SUMMIT extra low temperature freezers are manual defrost without any fans or defrost heaters. Models from these three series utilize R404 refrigerant and are all equipped with locks. Units in these three series are UL and UL-Sanitation (to NSF-7) listed and built to commercial standards.

-30ºC (-22ºF): "VT" Series, front-opening and chest freezers (4 to 22 cu.ft.) with digital thermostat and alarm
-35ºC(-31ºF): "VLT" Series, front-opening and chest freezers (4 to 22 cu.ft.) with digital thermostat and alarm
-40ºC(-40ºF): "VT" Series, chest freezers made for SUMMIT in Denmark by Vestfrost, an ISO 14001 certified manufacture and specialist in low temperature freezers. These models use a special electronic thermostat and extra thick 100mm (4") wall insulation. Capable of reaching -50ºC (-58ºF)
-45ºC (-49ºF) capable series made for us by ELCOLD in Denmark. Available with 4.8 cu.ft. and 15.5 cu.ft. capacities. 4 1/2" thick insulation and standard with digital thermostats, counterbalanced lids, and keyed locks.

VT65M All-Freezers

SUMMIT's VT65M all-freezer is the ideal solution for many laboratories and hospitals in need of a low temperature (-25ºC) freezer designed to fit under counters. Available in freestanding or built-in capable style, the VT65M features extra thick insulation and a cold-safe interior. Three pull-out baskets with plastic fronts help to protect stored items from ambient temperatures when the door is opened. Less than 24" wide and available with a range of options.

Compact Freezers

In addition to our popular undercounter low temperature freezers, SUMMIT also carries a series of compact, -20ºC capable all-freezers complete with factory installed locks and solid insulation. Available in white, stainless steel, and as glass door display models, the FS20L models are ideal for storing select items in areas tight on space.
